Lisa Chang, Registered Massage Therapist
Lisa has been healing people for some time now. She started as Ski Patrol on a local Ontario ski hill for several years as a first responder. Later, she practiced healing through reflexology as well as energy healing. As a Registered Massage Therapist, she found her calling to assist people with a wide variety of soft tissue and joint issues. Massage therapy treatments assist in relief from pain or physical discomfort but treatments also rehabilitate and augment physical function of soft tissue and joints.
Her therapeutic massage techniques and styles include myofascial release, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. Lisa is a Sports Massage Therapist and assists athletes of all kinds to recover from injuries or prepare for their sport. She offers prenatal massage in any trimester and postpartum massage therapy to new mothers. She also loves to have people enjoy a good foot massage as well. Her knowledge and in-depth understanding of muscles makes her eclectic approach quite effective in accomplishing relief, reduced pain and restored physical function.
Massage therapy often provides a relief from physical, emotional or mental stress accumulated in the body. As part of a healthy lifestyle, massage therapy can reduce physical discomfort due to poor work ergonomics, headaches, injuries and trauma. Treat yourself to a session to understand what massage therapy can do for you.
Lisa is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in good standing. She is also a member of the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario as well as the Canadian Sports Massage Therapists Association.
